Ammar Charaf completed his Bachelors in Science in the field of Biology with a double major in Chemistry at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2013. In that time he would volunteer in various humanitarian activities, participated in interfaith, led workshops for Youth in both High School and College, and worked to promote social justice and harmony through education.
Following graduation, he quickly became certified as a teacher in Biology, Chemistry and Physical Sciences in the state of New Jersey and, as a result, has the unique ability to teach a wide arrange of science courses. While teaching at Passaic County Technical Institute in Wayne New Jersey, he sought to develop his skills in science and went on to complete his Masters in Chemistry with a concentration in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from NJIT in 2016.
He is currently working on his second Masters degree in Instructional Design and Technology at Seton Hall University and still works to impact social change through Public Speaking, Presentations, and his Blog. His goal is to build bridges of unity through education to put out the flames of hate fueled by ignorance. A firm believer that scientific literacy is crucial to understanding the problems of today and discovering the solutions of tomorrow, Ammar wants to go on to reach a larger audience with his message. A musical artist on the side, Ammar also writes, produces and performs a variety of songs to inspire hope, love and unity in the world.
